Job Description
Client-side developer focused on web technologies
General Description : We are looking for a client-side developer focused on web development to come into a very rapid application development shop and work at least 6 months if not longer. We are developing a new e-commerce system from the ground up using ASP.NET MVC 3 (C# Razor), IIS 7.5, SQL Server 2008 R2, WPF 4.0, WCF 4.0 and are doing a LOT of UI construction utilizing jQuery and Javascript on the web side and XAML templates on the desktop side. The person needs to be VERY fluent in UI design and very comfortable with positional-level CSS concepts. This person needs to be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision with ever-changing requirements and deadlines. Our shop focuses more on code construction than on software development lifecycle concepts, so an ability to work in a very fluid environment is a must. This person needs to be very creative, visually-oriented, and comfortable with all form of design concepts as much of the UI design comes from the development side of the business. We are quite willing to endure some learning curve on the newer technologies we are utilizing if the core fundamental skillsets are there.
Experience : At least 3 years
